With "Solus Locus", exhibited in the Frauenmuseum in Bonn (Bonnova 2001), the large dimensioned shape has experienced a wide opening, and at the same time the final thematic point has been achieved.  Associations to terms like hull, pupation, the human body, mouth or vulva obtrude themselves like of their own accords.  Altogether, they offer themselves as metaphors for housing, shelter, security, trust, changeability. But caution - the apparent intact cover also opens up to the being of the mercy of the forces of nature to brutal injuries to the cracked skin-covers and to ones very own body hidden beneath - injuries by tips and spikes of palpable as well as verbal violence and sexist temptation or exploitation.  The total ridding of taboos concerning the body and the public view hardly permit the right of privacy; the glassy human being becomes reality.  The artist asks about the place where the spatial demarcation, the attendance without a purpose, or the resting-place for the soul becomes an event in the interlinked society of body-worlds.
